As part of our Privacy Policy, your information will never be shared with outside services and or organizations from a member of our Board, volunteers, and associate partners, We take proficient steps in securing your personal information.
It is our aim through this policy page to explain what information we collect about you and why we collect that information. We also want to make sure you understand how we use and share your information and the choices available to you. Our goal is to earn and keep your trust as you visit websites and applications about our services that help us continue our efforts to support Veterans. This Policy describes how we treat personal information on websites (“sites”), mobile or social media applications (“apps”), and any other services where we include an authorized link or reference to this Policy (together, the “Services”).
This Policy does not describe how other services may or may not use your information for their products and services.
We ask for basic information like first or last name, email, and phone number when receiving donations at events for transparency with our Board and for our own records keeping purposes.
We do not collect identifiers and contact information. For example, we may collect your name and street address if donation is by mail and or submitted your information through our Donation and/or Contact forms. We may also collect your phone number or email address. We also collect online identifiers. For example, if you engage with us through a social media site, we may collect your social media user identifier.
We collect payment information. If you make purchases or donations on our website, we (or our business partners who process credit cards for us) may collect your billing information. This includes your credit card number.
We collect information you submit or otherwise provide or authorize us to collect. We collect the information you post in a public space on our facebook.com or website. This includes comments and videos or photos. We also collect any other information you may provide to us or authorize us to collect.
If a person or separate organization contacts you, saying it is on our behalf and asks for your information. Please DO NOT give them your information.
ALR701 will never ask for banking, social security numbers, medical records, and or other personal information.
Information Security Policy:
ALR701 maintains a commitment to security through accepting branded payment cards and using a secure operating procedures. We take a number of steps in order to protect your business and reduce your exposure to fraud.
Financial Reporting Compliance:
ALR701 maintains financial records on activities in and out of our primary account.
Our Certified Public Account can assist with compliance reports and tax-questions. Records and receipts are maintained for 5 years as part of our records retention practices.
Based on our fundraising operations, the majority of monies going out happen prior to events. The majority of large funds coming in happen after processing final data from events.
Comments:
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. How long we retain your data:
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
